Despite having split up just a mere 24 hours prior<\/a>, Dave attempted to rekindle his romance with Lauren during a group outing with the Love Is Blind<\/a> cast, something we had the misfortune of having to watch.<\/p>\n

Lauren has now revealed exactly what she was thinking when Dave tried to get her back during *that* awkward Love Is Blind outing.<\/p>\n

Talking to Glamour<\/a> about the moment, Lauren admitted she felt “very defeated” and that the whole thing felt “very disingenuous.”<\/p>\n

She explained: “I was just very defeated. I just didn\u2019t understand it. It felt very disingenuous. I didn\u2019t understand how he could have made a complete 180 in the 24 hours since we\u2019d seen each other.<\/p>\n

“And I was so emotionally exhausted trying to navigate this relationship by myself for a week and to now have him present in a way like he\u2019s ready to tackle it, I just was so defeated. I didn\u2019t believe that that was actually something that he was capable of doing.”<\/p>\n

She also opened up to Us Weekly<\/a> about having to see Dave at the Love Is Blind event less than 24 hours after splitting, with Lauren explaining: “Timing wise that was tough.<\/p>\n

“I felt very emotionally drained. We had broken up within 24 hours [of the outing]. It was fresh. Dave and I ending this relationship was very sad, but I had gotten so close with the other couples and I was sad that I couldn\u2019t support them throughout the rest of their process.<\/p>\n

“I knew what was coming and I just was excited to see them and check in and make sure they were good too.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for her thoughts on Dave’s apology, she admitted: “There was an element of me being like, \u2018I\u2019ve been waiting weeks for you to say this.\u2019 But I remember thinking, \u2018I don\u2019t fully believe this.’<\/p>\n

“I think he shut down [during the experiment] and you see me say that at the group hang. I say, \u2018I\u2019ve been giving 150 percent, you\u2019ve given me nothing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
