She&#8217;s now revealed why the split took place in such a random location after they argued at a bowling alley. It happened when Dave became mad at Lauren and her family, which was basically the tipping point for Lauren ahead of the scheduled wedding. It was so close to them getting married that their family and friends had literally booked their flights and hotels for the wedding!<\/p>\n<p>They agreed that they had a strong connection but should go their separate ways. In a confessional interview, Dave said he felt like he &#8220;let her down&#8221; because he &#8220;couldn&#8217;t get over my own ego.&#8221; But it all started in\u00a0 episode 11, with Dave suggesting that Lauren &#8220;probably didn&#8217;t expect&#8221; to fall in love with someone who knew her most recent ex, who she called a &#8220;friends with benefits.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You admitted you never ended it and you should have ended it,&#8221; he said. However, Lauren bit back with: &#8220;That&#8217;s not what I said. I said there was not a lack of closure in my opinion.&#8221; Dave then brought up his off-camera meeting with Lauren&#8217;s dad, who didn&#8217;t want to be recorded. He said: &#8220;Yeah, we&#8217;re coming back to it because of the way your dad approached me saying he thought I was there just to see what happens.<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8220;He thought you were fully ready for this engagement, get married in six weeks deal.&#8221; Lauren then replied: &#8220;I don&#8217;t understand why this is on my family when your sister didn&#8217;t want you to get engaged. Your dad didn&#8217;t even know that there was an engagement,&#8221; and next thing you know, they&#8217;re chatting in a movie theatre of all places.<\/p>\n<h2>She reveals why they chose the split location<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Dave and Lauren don\u2019t want to talk about their potential marriage at a bowling alley so they go to a movie theater. She told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/love-is-blinds-lauren-on-daves-sister-movie-theater-breakup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">US Weekly<\/a>: \u201c[We were at this] retro bowling alley and right next door is a little theatre and it was closed down. But it was so funny because we\u2019re having this serious conversation,&#8221; adding that an older group in a bowling league walked in a couple of times.<\/p>\n<p>She continued, &#8220;A couple people walked in and they were like, \u2018Is this where this event is?\u2019 And our producer had to run in and I\u2019m like, like, crying and our producer had to be like, \u2018Please leave.'&#8221; Then in a confessional, Lauren said: &#8220;I&#8217;m really sad this didn&#8217;t work out. I&#8217;m so incredibly sad about it.
