Sometimes I really wish Nick and Vanessa Lachey weren’t our Love Is Blind<\/a> hosts, and my feelings have only been further vindicated by them defending Dave.<\/p>\n

Yes, the same Dave who not only has a very questionable looking TV stand<\/a> and is actually obsessed with his sister<\/a>, this is the same man they’re now defending.<\/p>\n

The main aspect of Dave’s personality that Nick and Vanessa Lachey were defending were his introductory jokes<\/a> which didn’t land to well in the Love Is Blind pods.<\/p>\n

Nick told Us Weekly<\/a> that he thinks Dave is just a “jokey guy” but thinks he’s “definitely a character.”<\/p>\n

Nick explained: “I think he admitted at some point that a couple of the ladies didn\u2019t take that the right way.<\/p>\n

“For him, that\u2019s a way of trying to break the ice and be a jokey guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nick continued that the “the delivery is lost a little bit,\u201d and Vanessa noted, \u201cIt\u2019s hard when you can\u2019t see someone.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: “Because even the women were like, \u2018What?\u2019 But she couldn\u2019t see his face.”<\/p>\n

Nick continued to defend Dave, saying: “I think he realised that was a swing and miss a few time. He\u2019s definitely a character. It certainly brings a lot to the show.<\/p>\n

“We haven\u2019t actually ever been in the pod and experienced that, but I can\u2019t imagine how you break the ice.<\/p>\n

“I think for him it was just a way to break the ice and cut right through. It didn\u2019t land the way he hoped it would.\u201d<\/p>\n
