The first episode sees ex-Para Chris, who weeks earlier had his right leg amputated, have an adapted motorcycle built for him.<\/p>\n<p>But who is the brilliant bike builder, Titch Cormack? Here&#8217;s everything you need to know about him!<\/p>\n<h3>Who is Titch Cormack?<\/h3>\n<p>Steven &#8220;Titch&#8221; Cormack is a 45-year-old former Royal Marine and current bike builder.<\/p>\n<p>Titch joined the Royal Marines as a teenager and spent over a decade in the Special Boat Service (SBS). While he was in the special forces, Titch served in Afghanistan, Iraq and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>He was medically discharged in 2016 after suffering a series of injuries. From Bear Grylls to Ant Middleton, nowadays it&#8217;s a right of passage for these &#8230; And they&#8217;ve all been candid with their opinion of and experiences in the army.<\/p>\n<p>So, it wouldn&#8217;t be a surprise if Titch Cormack delved into his past on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytitbit.com\/tag\/the-speedshop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The Speedshop<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Already in promotional interviews for the TV show, Titch has opened up about his experiences. Speaking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-7859803\/SBS-veteran-unveiled-BBCs-latest-motoring-presenter-Speedshop.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Radio Times<\/span><\/a>, Titch said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;ve saved more lives than I&#8217;ve taken.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not a position I would wish on anyone, but you train for it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">When you&#8217;re put in a position where potentially if you don&#8217;t act you&#8217;ll lose your own life, then you have to do it. It stays with you.
