It\u2019s an autoimmune disorder where my body attacks my own thyroid. Basically, hypothyroidism but worse. While it has its struggles, I am very thankful that this is the disease I have, something that can be managed!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hashimotos, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/hashimotos-disease\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20351855#:~:text=Hashimoto's%20disease%20is%20an%20autoimmune%20disorder.,and%20lead%20to%20cell%20death.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">per<\/a> Mayo Clinic means: &#8220;The immune system creates antibodies that attack thyroid cells as if they were bacteria, viruses or some other foreign body.
