The Bravo star lets the cameras in on a super emotional moment with her son, Robert Cosby Jr. Speaking on the RHOSLC AfterShow, and in separate interviews, she’s also explaining how her husband’s past is playing a vital role in helping connect with their son.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City<\/a> star had people in tears as a scene plays out between herself and her 21-year-old son, Robert Jr. He explains how he began abusing substances<\/a> at the age of 16 and hadn’t stopped. Mom and son both cried during the conversation as Robert Jr adds how he contemplated ending his own life, but the only reason he didn’t was because of Mary.<\/p>\n

Mary reveals husband’s past of ‘getting high’<\/h2>\n

Mary finding out her son had a substance abuse issue was “really hard” as she explained, “as it would be for anyone.”<\/p>\n

She said: “It was “almost embarrassing,” on the RHOSLC AfterShow.<\/p>\n

“At some point, your child has to tell you ‘Mom, I hit a vulnerable side and I failed… now I get high… I do drugs…”, she explains.<\/p>\n
