Fashion is about people-watching. Readers want to see the looks they love and hate. It’s a great section to be creative with. You can have a lot of fun doing shoots.

Shoots don’t need much text – just a series of photos with models in different poses. In the caption you can provide info on what the clothes are, where to get them and how much for. The shoot can have a theme. If you need clothes, borrow them from friends and convince vintage shops to lend you some in exchange for a name drop.

A quick feature is Street Style, where you take photos of students out and about who look good or are all sporting the same trend. It’s easy to do – just head out with a camera and remember to take down their name, subject and year.
