Verity has finally hit cinemas, and the ending has managed to start the exact same argument that has been going on since Colleen Hoover’s book came out in 2018. So, are you team manuscript or team letter? Here’s what the author and cast said about Verity’s<\/a> ending.<\/p>\n

Basically, Lowen Ashleigh discovers Verity Crawford’s disturbing manuscript, believes it is a confession, and eventually gives it to Verity’s husband, Jeremy. Jeremy then kills Verity, with Lowen helping him cover it up.<\/p>\n

And just when you think that’s it, there’s a letter. In it, Verity claims the manuscript was never a confession. She says it was a writing exercise, while Jeremy was actually the dangerous one who tried to kill her in a car crash. Lowen finds the letter after Verity’s death but destroys it before Jeremy can read it.<\/p>\n

So, we’re back where we started: Team manuscript or team letter? Well, the cast and creator actually have some pretty clear opinions. <\/p>\n
