Tom Cruise is back on the big screen in Digger, and because audiences are now so used to waiting around for an extra scene after a major film, here’s whether Digger has a post-credit scene.

The film follows Digger Rockwell, played by Tom Cruise, a wealthy oil tycoon whose drilling work causes a major disaster, putting millions of lives at risk. As Digger tries to fix the mess he has created, the story takes a surprising turn. It turns out that his story is being performed in a stage play called Fossil Fools. The film also follows Curtis Markson, also played by Cruise, who acts as Digger in the play while dealing with his own personal struggles in a world hit by the disaster.

By the end, Digger dies after losing his money and power, while the world around him is left badly damaged by flooding. Meanwhile, Curtis’s daughter makes it to safety, and the stage play comes to an end. But just as the audience starts applauding, an emergency warning interrupts it, showing that the disaster is far from over and its effects are still being felt.

So, does Digger have a mid-credit or post-credit scene?

No, Digger does not have a conventional post-credit scene that plays right at the very end of the credits. But the film does continue visually once the credits begin. The credits play over footage showing more of the wreckage left behind by the flooding, giving viewers another look at the aftermath of everything that has happened.

So, it’s more like an extension of the ending than a separate mid-credit scene. There is no secret sequence teasing a sequel or introducing anything new to the story. You don’t need to stay until the very last credit waiting for another scene. But don’t rush out as soon as the credits start, either. So, if you want to see the full ending, it’s worth staying for the start of the credits.
