Mario Lopez has backed up Tiffani Thiessen after she offered a pretty bleak insight into how little the Saved by the Bell<\/a> cast members now make in residuals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite being one of the defining teen shows of the ’90s, Thiessen recently revealed that the money she receives from playing Kelly Kapowski has essentially \u201cdried out\u201d – and her former co-star has now confirmed she’s not exaggerating.<\/span><\/p>\n

The topic of conversation came up on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio<\/a> last week, where Thiessen was asked whether she still receives residuals from Saved by the Bell. \u201cI think it’s dried out,\u201d she said. \u201cIt’s like, negative now. It probably costs more to print the check.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Mario – who played A.C. Slater for the show\u2019s original run – shared E! News\u2019 report on her comments, and simply wrote: \u201cReal talk!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
