Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey<\/a> has already given us plenty of behind-the-scenes stories from its stacked cast, but now Travis Scott<\/a> has opened up about what it was actually like stepping in front of the camera.<\/p>\n

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon<\/a>, the rapper reflected on making the film, which also features his song When I’m Home over the end credits. Although he’d previously worked with Nolan on Tenet, this time things were very different.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Fallon pointed out that The Odyssey is Scott’s first ever number one movie. “It feels way different,” Scott admitted. “Even my theater teacher from high school, they reached out to my mom. This is like another stratosphere of greatness. All the people [who]<\/span> were scolding you in when you were in school, trying to make you a great human, are like, ‘You finally did something good.'”<\/p>\n

While Scott and Nolan had collaborated before, he explained that this call wasn’t about making another song.<\/p>\n

“My phone went off and it just said Chris and I was thinking, ‘Okay I don’t know what this is about. Maybe he wants to go to a show,'” he recalled. “So I pick up and he’s like, ‘Would you be interested in acting in a movie?’ But I didn’t think it was for him. I thought it might be for somebody else.”<\/p>\n
