Just when you think Evil Dead Burn has squeezed every last drop of blood from its 110-minute runtime, S\u00e9bastien Vani\u010dek throws in not one but two final surprises with a mid- and post-credits scene – but it\u2019s the latter that has the biggest impact.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The new horror<\/a> film is the sixth entry to Sam Raimi’s legendary Evil Dead franchise, serving as a standalone sequel and following on from Lee Cronin\u2019s<\/a> 2023 Evil Dead Rise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Similarly to the previous entries, Vani\u010dek delivers some ruthless gore, while expanding the mythology of the Necronomicon and tying back to the films that came before it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This time, it unleashes a demonic presence upon grieving widow Alice (Souheila Yacoub), who visits her late husband’s isolated family home where her in-laws’ attempt to use the Necronomicon results in a Deadite army instead.<\/span><\/p>\n
