Josh Heuston has been spending a lot of time with Off Campus co-star Mika Abdalla, but he won’t be a part of season two, and we now know the reason why.<\/p>\n

We spent the first season of Off Campus<\/a> getting to know Josh, the emotionally detached musician Hannah falls in love with at the beginning of her story. Off-screen, actor Josh Heuston and Mika Abdalla<\/a>, who plays Allie, have been recently spotted spending time together in Paris, sparking dating rumours. Season two of Off Campus is currently flying, but don’t get your hopes up; showrunner Louisa Levy has confirmed Josh isn’t coming back.<\/p>\n

\u201c[He is] not [in] next season, but I love Josh, and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point,\u201d she told TV Guide. \u201cWe never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we\u2019ll find a way to fold him into a future season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead of filming season two, Josh is busy making his horror debut in a film called The First Exorcist. Director George McLean described the film as: “a unique and powerful tale of faith, but it is also the original horror event: a legion of demons, a man beyond saving, and one encounter that changes everything. ”<\/p>\n

He continued: “I approached the story with total respect for what it is, and total commitment to making audiences feel it in their bones. This is where it all begins.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wondering what happens to Justin after the first season of Off Campus? Josh Heuston has given his opinion on the character’s mindset.<\/p>\n

\u201cJustin is following his heart. He\u2019s a little lover boy at heart,\u201d Josh said in an interview with US Weekly<\/a>. \u201cI think things went the way that they went, but I think he\u2019ll just continue to do that. He\u2019ll probably go write some nice music about how heartbroken he is and then come back and try to find his love.\u201d<\/p>\n
