You don\u2019t need a man.\u2019 But then when I\u2019m like, \u2018Okay, I can carry my own things,\u2019 people are like, \u2018Where\u2019s your husband?\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Talking about Jake, Millie said he&#8217;s the &#8220;most polite, sweet&#8221; person and &#8220;will do anything&#8221; for her. &#8220;But he also knows I&#8217;m capable,&#8221; she said, adding, &#8220;I&#8217;m not broken.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once again, a debate has started, with one person writing, \u201cI get the sentiment, however there\u2019s a difference between chivalry and co-parenting.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another said, \u201cIt\u2019s almost like she\u2019s missing the point\u2026 this is not the flex she thinks it is. It should be 50\/50 or close to that in relationship or friendship for ALL genders.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, plenty of fans are defending Millie and Jake, including this person who said, \u201cPersonally I find the comments parasocial AF and indicative of a larger issue with social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPeople see one or two images of someone and make assumptions of their whole entire life and relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAnd the woman biting back at Millie in these comments saying she&#8217;s missing the point because her husband should be helping, maybe he helped 1000 other ways that week but the moment you saw was Millie&#8217;s turn????\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another commented, \u201cThe amount of women saying Millie is wrong here is weird. She\u2019s entitled to her take on things.
