Euphoria<\/a> has always been sprinkled with religious imagery. At Rue’s lowest point in season two, she finds herself at a church service, with Labrinth’s I’m Tired playing in the background. The lyrics explicitly mention God, as Zendaya sings, “‘Cause Lord, you know I’m tired.”<\/p>\n But the sprinkles here and there elevate to full-on subplots and religious imagery in season three. Motivated by her goal to be a “good” person, Rue starts reading the Bible and talking a lot about God. She even dies listening to the Old Testament.
