Rivals is currently five episodes deep into season two, but with the looming threat of a months-long hiatus, I am praying we’ve still got a few episodes left before that occurs.<\/p>\n

Streamers have this annoying habit of dropping a season in two parts, largely to keep subscriptions up and to stop people binging the series in one sitting. For similar reasons, NOW TV<\/a> has been dropping The Pitt an episode at a time – even though the second season is done and dusted in the States.<\/p>\n

Following a three-episode drop to mark the start of season two, Disney+ has been releasing one episode a week on Fridays. Here’s when we can expect season two, episode six of Rivals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the newest episode of Rivals, we got an Aidan Turner nude scene (yay for us), Rupert making a TV comeback, and quite a lot of emotional damage.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, I can confirm that Rivals season two episode six is coming next Friday, June 5. The dreaded hiatus comes after that, with another six episodes coming in late 2026 – believed to be in October.<\/p>\n

People are already mourning the loss of Rivals in the coming months, as one person screamed on Twitter: “ONLY ONE EPISODE LEFT AND THEN WE GOTTA WAIT TILL OCTOBER.”<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m always against bullying, but I may need to make an exception for Hulu and Disney+ because having a 5-month break between part one and two of the new season of rivals should be illegal. Like, wtf were they thinking? And honestly, why kill the momentum like that?\u201d another moaned.<\/p>\n

Someone else added: “Rivals season 2 is so f**king good so far, I am FURIOUS they\u2019re not giving us the second half until October.”<\/p>\n
