I am glad she\u2019s capitalising. Good for her. We\u2019re all rooting for her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since then, <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/filmshrine\/2026\/05\/26\/matt-rife-tells-people-to-shut-up-shane-gillis-tony-hinchcliffe-kevin-hart-roast\/\">Matt Rife shared his thoughts<\/a> on the situation, telling people to \u201cshut up\u201d, while Nikki Glaser said she\u2019s glad she sat this roast out.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Tony Hinchcliffe hits back at critics and Chelsea Handler<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hinchcliffe addressed the situation on the latest episode of his <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dnH3m89MEbE\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kill Tony<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> podcast, where he first addressed the fact that he was \u201ccalled a Nazi multiple times.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tony Hinchcliffe speaks out about all the backlash he\u2019s been getting over his George Floyd joke at the Kevin Hart roast and people calling him a Nazi while continuing to throw shots at Chelsea Handler \ud83d\ude33\ud83d\udc40<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got called a Nazi, gay, a racist over and over again. I wasn&#8217;t shocked. Like, that&#8217;s what they do. Go and look at the Tom Brady one.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When asked whether Hinchcliffe had gone \u201ctoo far\u201d, Hart replied, \u201cIt\u2019s Tony Hinchcliffe. I don\u2019t expect less, I don\u2019t expect more.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The actor said Hinchcliffe had \u201cone of the best sets\u201d of the night and went on to highlight <a href=\"https:\/\/thetab.com\/filmshrine\/2026\/05\/11\/real-reason-pete-davidson-called-tony-hinchcliffe-nazi-during-kevin-hart-roast-netflix\/\">Pete Davidson\u2019s joke<\/a> about Charlie Kirk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWould I tell those jokes? No,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut do I get why they&#8217;re being told? Yes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hart then defended comedians\u2019 freedom to push boundaries during live roasts, saying he didn\u2019t understand why the situation had become such a huge controversy online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt literally is either you&#8217;re a fan of this level of content or you&#8217;re not,\u201d he added.
