Shocker, this week’s Rivals episode had even more nudity than the first three, and Danny Dyer’s full frontal moment was the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance.<\/p>\n

Though there’s enough full frontal in Rivals<\/a> to put Game of Thrones<\/a> out of business, for the most part, it’s Alex Hassell’s character Rupert<\/a> that finds his manhood going viral on Twitter.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the book, Rupert is said to have a d*ck that could bat bread rolls across the room and while I am okay, I wouldn\u2019t suggest that I could bat bread rolls across a room. And so they made some [prosthetic penises],\u201d Alex told The Times<\/a> ahead of season two.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey had to be held up against my face to see if the colouring was right. The first question I was asked on my first day of filming, sitting in the make-up chair for the first time, was what colour my penis was, so they [the production team] could get on with making them. It set a precedent for the whole show as to how well we were going to get to know each other. I decided very quickly to be very respectful of everyone\u2019s boundaries and my own, but also be very blas\u00e9 about the whole thing because if I was nervous about it, it would come off on screen.\u201d<\/p>\n

But for episode four, it wasn’t Alex’s business in 4k, it was Danny Dyer’s.<\/p>\n

Soooo, was Danny Dyer wearing a prosthetic in his Rivals scene?<\/h2>\n

In episode four, Danny Dyer’s millionaire character Freddie Jones has a dalliance with Lizzie Vereker, played by Katherine Parkinson. They’re skinny dipping in the pool, which is when we got a full face of his Queen Vic – see what I did there?<\/p>\n

Ahead of the show’s release, Danny Dyer spoke to Radio Times<\/a> about his full-frontal moment. In a bid to support his fellow stars, who seem to wear fewer and fewer clothes each episode, he opted not to get a prosthetic.<\/p>\n

“I go full frontal in this series, if they keep it in the edit,” he said. “It’s a night shoot, and it was cold, and I’d better not say any more. Nobody’s under pressure to be naked if they don’t want to, but if a woman’s getting her breasts out, why shouldn’t I get it all out? I’ve got breasts as well, to be fair.”<\/p>\n

So that’s confirmed: That was really Danny Dyer’s penis in Rivals season two.<\/p>\n
