Homelander has done some messed up things throughout The Boys<\/a>, but his <\/span>most<\/span><\/i> messed up moment certainly wasn\u2019t in the season five finale – so what happened, Antony Starr?<\/span><\/p>\n

In the last ever episode of the Prime Video<\/a> series, Homelander and Butcher<\/a> duke it out in a bloody showdown, which ends with Kimiko using her new radioactive abilities to depower Homelander.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, Butcher is able to get a clear shot, and he kills the blonde-haired sociopath with a crowbar to the head. Perfect.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to this, Homelander<\/a> was making his case to the world as a new God, but his measured speech is derailed when he\u2019s triggered by the word \u201cfather\u201d on the autocue. Oh, and he also kills Gunter Van Ellis – a billionaire who is clearly a satirical take on Elon Musk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why am I saying all this? Because Homie is his usual a-hole self, but he doesn\u2019t do anything particularly out of the ordinary.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The same can be said for the rest of season five. Sure, he beat up his own son Ryan, killed Firecracker<\/a>, and attempted a complete authoritarian takeover of the US.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But the issue here is that actor Antony Starr promised the \u201cmost f**ked up thing\u201d Homelander ever did would be in season five and, well, is it in the room with us?<\/span><\/p>\n

Antony Starr promised Homelander\u2019s worst act yet<\/h2>\n

During the press run, Starr made multiple references to an irredeemable act in season five.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to <\/span>Wired<\/span><\/a>, he said, \u201cI think the most f**ked up thing Homelander did is in season five, which I can\u2019t spoil. I can\u2019t wait for you to see that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
