Another day, another Euphoria controversy. This time, former Disney star turned OnlyFans creator Maitland Ward has given her verdict on Cassie\u2019s (Sydney Sweeney<\/a>) season three storyline, and she thinks it\u2019s \u201cdisgusting and vile.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Cassie\u2019s foray into OnlyFans has taken up a major part of the long-awaited third chapter, and each week has been more shocking than the last.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s been so much explicit content that fans have started describing Euphoria<\/a> season three as a Sydney Sweeney humiliation ritual<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For those who genuinely work in the adult entertainment industry, it\u2019s been damaging to say the least. This is an issue Ward has been vocal about, saying the HBO<\/a> series perpetuates harmful stereotypes about sex workers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Boy Meets World star spoke to TMZ Live<\/a> last night, where she explained what Euphoria gets wrong about OnlyFans, and one particular moment came up that you will no doubt remember: Cassie role-playing as a baby.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ward, who is a successful OnlyFans content creator now, explained that there are a lot of things that you can\u2019t do on the platform, and that is one of them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole child baby thing is so disgusting\u2026 The way that it was handled was so gross and it’s just disgusting and vile,\u201d said Ward.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the topic of paedophiles on the platform, Ward said, \u201cThat’s the whole reason you wouldn’t be allowed to do that. You don’t want paedophilia anywhere near pornography.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt presents OnlyFans and its creators in a way that we are not,\u201d she added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ward went on to argue that Euphoria isn\u2019t celebrating sex workers or content creators, but instead reducing them to shock value punchlines.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn the climate that we’re in, to do that and to use Sydney Sweeney<\/a> of all people – who has had such controversy on her own<\/a> – to come forth and do these crazy stunts\u2026 [It] is making fun of Only Fans creators.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s not celebrating them. It’s saying, \u2018Oh, look at how weird and creepy they are.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
