The release of the Michael Jackson biopic<\/a> has sparked fresh interest in the singer\u2019s life – and, inevitably, long-standing speculation about his family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Michael only tracks the singer\u2019s life from the \u201860s through to 1988, meaning it stops short of covering the child sexual abuse allegations<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It also means the movie doesn\u2019t cover his marriages to Lisa Marie Presley and Debbie Rowe or the births of his three children: Paris, Prince and Bigi Jackson.<\/span><\/p>\n

Michael\u2019s first two children, Paris and Prince, were mothered by Debbie, while his third, Bigi, was through an undisclosed surrogate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For decades, rumours circulated that the singer wasn\u2019t the biological father of his three kids. Michael\u2019s friend, Jason Pfeiffer, alleged in a 2013 interview with the Mirror<\/a> that Michael confessed before his 2009 death that actor Mark Lester was the father of Paris and Prince.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Michael calmly said, ‘My friend Mark donated the sperm’. I was taken aback, but I didn’t think to ask anymore questions about the procedure,\u201d Jason claimed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, these allegations have never been verified and Michael publicly maintained that he was the biological dad during his lifetime.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The same goes for Paris Jackson<\/a>, who has been vocal about the issue and dismissed the long-running rumours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She addressed the claims for the first time in a 2017 interview with <\/span>Rolling Stone<\/span><\/a>, where she firmly shut down the speculation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe is my father. He will always be my father. He never wasn\u2019t, and he never will not be,\u201d she said. \u201cPeople that knew him really well say they see him in me, that it\u2019s almost scary.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Paris also addressed the talk about her appearance and claims that she\u2019s white. \u201cI consider myself black,\u201d she continued, adding that Michael \u201cwould look me in the eyes and he\u2019d point his finger at me and he\u2019d be like, \u2018You\u2019re black. Be proud of your roots.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I\u2019d be like, \u2018OK, he\u2019s my dad, why would he lie to me?\u2019 So I just believe what he told me. \u2018Cause, to my knowledge, he\u2019s never lied to me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMost people that don\u2019t know me call me white. I\u2019ve got light skin and, especially since I\u2019ve had my hair blond, I look like I was born in Finland or something,\u201d she continued, before pointing out that it\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What does she think about Michael Jackson biopic?<\/h2>\n

As for what Paris thinks of the Michael biopic<\/a>, directed by Antoine Fuqua, the singer and actress has called it \u201cdishonest\u201d and said she had \u201czero per cent involvement\u201d in it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
