Sam Levinson and the Euphoria writing team didn\u2019t consult Chloe Cherry on the sex work plotline in season three, and she has two words for this: \u201cThank god.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

More of less every woman in Euphoria is doing sex work in season three: Jules is a sugar baby, Cassie and Maddy are making OnlyFans content, and Rue is managing a strip club (and may or may not have helped Alamo with a human trafficking scheme).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to joining the HBO show, Faye star Chloe worked in the porn industry, and so you would have assumed that the team would want her expertise to assist with the storytelling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This was something she spoke about while on the press run for the show, with <\/span>ScreenRant<\/span><\/a> asking her, \u201cSo much of Euphoria season three revolves around sex work. Was Chloe Cherry consulted?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She replied: \u201cNo. Nobody consulted me for this because you really don’t have to. There’s so many people that have done so much more sex work and know so much more about it than I do. Like, there’s actual specialists about it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s a huge industry that has people that have been working in it for like 30 years, so there’s really no reason to ask me. So no, Chloe Cherry did not serve as a consultant on sex work. Thank god.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Sex workers are calling out the inaccuracies in Cassie’s OnlyFans storyline<\/h3>\n

But maybe the writing team should have, as real sex workers have been speaking out about their issues with Euphoria\u2019s third chapter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
