The Bride! <\/a>has officially arrived in cinemas today, and plenty of people are already wondering whether it\u2019s worth sitting through the credits.<\/p>\n

The new film stars Jessie Buckley<\/span><\/span> and Christian Bale<\/span><\/span>, alongside Peter Sarsgaard<\/span><\/span>, Annette Bening<\/span><\/span>, Jake Gyllenhaal<\/span><\/span> and Pen\u00e9lope Cruz<\/span><\/span>. It takes inspiration from the classic Bride of Frankenstein<\/span><\/span>, which itself was based on Mary Shelley<\/span><\/span>\u2019s 1818 novel Frankenstein<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Because post-credits scenes are so common now, especially in big franchise films, people often wait through the credits just in case there\u2019s something extra. So if you\u2019re heading to see The Bride!, you might be wondering whether it has one too.<\/p>\n

Does The Bride have a post-credits scene?<\/h2>\n

Yes, The Bride! does include one extra scene, but it appears midway through the credits rather than at the very end.<\/p>\n

The scene starts around 30 seconds after the credits begin and runs for roughly 45 seconds.<\/p>\n

After that, the rest of the credits play normally, so once you\u2019ve watched the mid-credits moment you\u2019re safe to leave.<\/p>\n

There is one final detail right at the end though: When the credits finish, there\u2019s an audio-only moment of Mary Shelley laughing.<\/p>\n

The short scene centres on Detective Wiles, played by Peter Sarsgaard<\/span><\/span>. He watches as a group of women tattoo mob boss Lupino\u2019s face, recreating the same facial marking seen on The Bride.<\/p>\n

The camera also shows a table covered in severed tongues, strongly implying the women have also removed Lupino\u2019s tongue. After this moment, the credits continue until the film ends.<\/p>\n
