What really IS going on with Jim Carrey<\/a>? That\u2019s what people are asking after the actor made a rare public appearance at the 2026 C\u00e9sar Awards<\/span><\/span> in Paris<\/a>, where he accepted the prestigious C\u00e9sar d’honneur for lifetime achievement.<\/p>\n

The 63-year-old delivered his acceptance speech entirely in French and, according to E! News,<\/a> paid tribute to his family, including his daughter Jane and his girlfriend, Min Ah. The ceremony, held at L’Olympia<\/span><\/span>, saw Carrey described as the \u201cking of slapstick\u201d and \u201cone of the most original voices in modern cinema\u201d.<\/p>\n

While people were impressed by his fluent French, it was something else that got everyone talking: His appearance.<\/p>\n

People think he looks \u2018completely different\u2019<\/h2>\n

Carrey has largely stepped away from public life in recent years. Before the C\u00e9sar Awards, his last major appearance was at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, where he introduced Soundgarden.<\/p>\n

Now, social media is flooded with speculation that the actor looks \u201cvastly different\u201d from how fans remember him. Some have even suggested he\u2019s had plastic surgery. Others, taking things to the extreme, claimed he\u2019d been replaced by a clone.<\/p>\n

Things escalated when drag performer Alexis Stone<\/span><\/span>,<\/a> who is known for jaw-dropping celebrity transformations using prosthetics and masks, took credit.<\/p>\n
