You don\u2019t need us to tell you Gen Z are going to the cinema more than ever. In fact, a recent Fandango<\/a> study found that we’re the most active cinema-going generation.<\/p>\n

In a world where it feels like the odds are stacked against us (financially, politically, and the rest) cinema has become a place to forget the noise, enjoy the ride, and (of course) deep dive on the internet to see what everyone’s talking about the second the credits start rolling.<\/p>\n

So today, we\u2019re excited to announce the launch of Film Shrine, our new site dedicated to the conversations audiences are already having online about their latest big and small screen obsessions.<\/p>\n

We’re launching Film Shrine as a response to a gap in traditional entertainment coverage, which can often feel overly formal or inaccessible to younger audiences.<\/p>\n

It’s a space for people who want to learn more about their favorite series and movies without feeling like they need to be part of an exclusive club.<\/p>\n

We’re all about how people engage with film and TV today – discussing plot twists in group chats, sharing memes, and immediately turning to social media to see what everyone else thinks.<\/p>\n

Film Shrine is an extension of that. Across the site, we’ll be sharing culturally aware commentary, personality-driven writing, and original reporting, covering a wide range of the most talked-about titles, from the Netflix top 10 and major releases to cult faves and new shows quietly gaining traction.<\/p>\n

Our writers and editors at Film Shrine are more tuned into internet culture than most – they’ll always spot the moments that spark debate and stay way ahead of rapidly changing trends.<\/p>\n

We’ll be looking beyond what happens on screen, also exploring the wider conversations, controversies, and viral reactions that surround new releases.<\/p>\n

Our first published stories include a deep dive on why Euphoria season three looks like a different show<\/a>, the real reason for Dr Mohan\u2019s sudden exit from The Pitt<\/a> and the wholesome reason Tom Holland avoided the red carpet for Zendaya\u2019s The Drama<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The launch marks the latest expansion for The Tab Group, a digital media company known for producing content aimed at young audiences. Film Shrine joins its existing brands, The Tab and Reality Shrine, which focus on student news and reality television respectively.<\/p>\n

Like our other sites, Film Shrine will deliver the most voice-driven, honest, original entertainment news and commentary, while building a community-driven space for readers.<\/p>\n

The new site launches at a time when streaming services and online fandoms continue to shape how entertainment is consumed and talked about.<\/p>\n

With audiences increasingly turning to social media for immediate reactions and shared experiences, Film Shrine will be extension of that community rather than separate from it.<\/p>\n
