Chu revealed what the creators of the musical told him: &#8220;The thing we went by the whole time was something from the show. They told us it&#8217;s always about the girls! Whatever is happening, it&#8217;s about the girls. So every time it drew us to, &#8216;What does Dorothy think?&#8217; we reminded ourselves of that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1445\" data-end=\"1801\">For Good\u00a0wraps up the witches\u2019 stories by pulling them directly into the events of The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy still appears throughout the film, from her house dropping into Munchkinland to the iconic water-throwing moment (which, in this version, we learn Elphaba orchestrated herself).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_554877\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-554877\" style=\"width: 680px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1742\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.filmshrine.com\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Screenshot-2025-12-01-at-10.47.54.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"502\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-554877\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Universal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p data-start=\"1803\" data-end=\"2195\">There are also glimpses of Dorothy being carried by flying monkeys, and shots of her with Toto and her companions inside the Wizard\u2019s chamber as he sends them after Elphaba. But when it comes to her interactions with Glinda, the Good Witch has zero time for her. Glinda even rolls her eyes when Dorothy won\u2019t get into the Wizard\u2019s hot air balloon, muttering, \u201cIt\u2019s always something with her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2197\" data-end=\"2334\">Other Oz favourites also show up, including a grown-up wowardly lion voiced by Colman Domingo, and Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero\u2019s scarecrow.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2197\"
