The trailer for 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple has just released, and I feel like we’re back in the tail end of 2024 all over again with the hype around it. 28 Years Later gagged us all this summer, mostly because nobody was expecting Danny Boyle to return with a zombie horror action film that was as emotionally charged as it was gory. Nobody was expecting a Jimmy Saville cult, and nobody was certainly expecting the breakout star of the whole affair to be a zombie with a massive d*ck. Hung zombie, as he’s affectionately known in these streets, is back for 28 Years Later<\/a>: The Bone Temple – but with one major change that everyone is fuming about.<\/p>\n

I’m sorry, who the hell is hung zombie?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The hung zombie is the alpha infected in the 28 Years Later sequel trilogy, dubbed Samson by Ralph Fiennes’ character, and is one of the major threats in the films. He caused mass hysteria and obsession on Twitter (where else) when it was revealed he had a rather massive package.<\/p>\n

Danny Boyle said of hung zombie at the time: \u201cInterestingly, because there was a 12-year-old boy on set, you\u2019re not allowed for anybody to be naked, not really naked,\u201d he told PEOPLE<\/a>. \u201cSo it\u2019s like, \u2018Oh my God,\u2019 so we had to make everybody prosthetic genitals.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chi Lewis-Parry – the actor behind hung zombie in 28 Years Later and who will be reprising the role in The Bone Temple – told Variety<\/a>: \u201cYeah, they were prosthetics. There\u2019s a law that states, I think, because he\u2019s a child, you\u2019re allowed to have nudity, but it has to be fake nudity. It was to protect him. And, as well, I\u2019m really friendly and am always hugging people. I wouldn\u2019t have been doing that if I were fully in the nip!\u201d<\/p>\n

The journalist asked Lewis-Parry at the time: \u201cThere\u2019s been quite a bit of talk about your own prosthetic. Not even sure if I should be asking this, but\u2026 was it in proportion?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I\u2019m 6\u2032 8\u2033. I\u2019ll say no more!\u201d he replied. Obviously this created more frenzy.<\/p>\n

He’s all covered up in the sequel?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The hung zombie in 28 Year Later now has a very demure loin cloth. I can only assume this is because of woke nonsense. I’m kidding of course, but it’s caused chaos on Twitter with the world longing for the massive package to be unsheathed yet again.<\/p>\n
