Starring Pose&#8217;s Indya Moore, YOU star Victoria Pedretti, and actually the director, River Gallo, in the lead role. The 2019 film is the first to feature an openly intersex actor playing an intersex person.<\/p>\n<p>Dylan gassed up his LGBTQ+ connections as he told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4SWZYZXfjD8\">Vulture: <\/a>\u201cI have a trans, non-binary sibling and I know people in my personal life as well who are queer. I am so grateful for how much it deepens my experience in this world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But when a publisher shared the story over the weekend, Julz revealed the reality of their relationship.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"River Gallo on Their Intersex Identity at the Heart of &#039;Ponyboi&#039;\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4SWZYZXfjD8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Dylan O\u2019Brien was &#8216;grateful&#8217; for his trans sibling, but they had another version<\/h2>\n<p>Last year, Dylan O\u2019Brien was celebrated for his part in Ponyboi, a crime thriller about an intersex sex worker who has an affair her pimp Vinnie.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, a publisher posted the Vulture story to their Instagram as they described how &#8220;Julz frequently shares family photos\u2014including with O\u2019Brien, whom they\u2019ve described as their &#8216;very first best friend.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But after seeing the post, Julz exposed the truth of their relationship in the comments, stating:\u00a0&#8220;Kinda funny that this article didn\u2019t ask me a single thing about myself? It\u2019s about me and uses my photo. I\u2019m not even tagged.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Specifically on Dylan, Julz revealed how they hadn&#8217;t spoken in over a year despite him featuring in posts before that. It&#8217;s not clear why the estrangement started.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe also hasn\u2019t spoken to me in over a year,\u201d Julz wrote. \u201cHe didn\u2019t check in when I had top surgery. He didn\u2019t even wish me a happy birthday last week!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Getting in another jab, they added, \u201cBut glad I could deepen his experience in this world and make the world love him that much more.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Though it did misreport Julz&#8217;s identity, which is trans masc with he\/they pronouns, the Instagram post was pretty accurate about their prior relationship. Julz had posted about their brother up until 2022, but as mentioned above, it&#8217;s not clear what changed.<\/p>\n<p><em>For all the latest entertainment news, drops, quizzes and memes \u2013
