YOU is back on Netflix<\/a> for its fifth and final season, so there’s never been a better time to check in with the many people Joe Goldberg has killed on his quest for true love.<\/p>\n

In 2018, Netflix released the very first season of YOU starring Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgley as the definitely not sexy serial killer Joe Goldberg. Just joking, he’s majorly sexy even if Penn himself has told us to stop thirsting over him. Throughout four seasons, and not counting his newest exploits, he’s knocked off a grand total of 18 people according to Netflix.<\/p>\n

Without further ado, and before Joe himself adds to the kill count in season five, here are all of his major victims and what they’ve been working on since.<\/p>\n

1. Joe Goldberg killed Benji in YOU season one<\/h2>\n

\"YOU\"<\/p>\n

Way back in season one, Benji – played by Lou Taylor Pucci – was Joe’s first victim by way of a spiked coffee. Since being killed off by anaphylaxis, Lou has worked on Shameless, Physical, and most recently, Daredevil: Born Again.<\/p>\n

2. Peach was shot by Joe, but he made it look like suicide<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Shay Mitchell’s Peach was killed via gunshot in season one episode six, with Joe making it look like suicide. Since then, the Pretty Little Liars actress has worked on Dollface, Trese, The Cleaning Lady, and Velma.\u00a0Most recently, OGX haircare named her as their first official brand ambassador for its new line of protein-enhanced repair products.<\/p>\n

Alongside a busy working life, Shay has also been raising her daughters, Atlas and Rome, with longtime partner Matte Babel.<\/p>\n

3. Elijah was pushed off a building<\/h2>\n

\"Elijah\"<\/p>\n

Taking place in a flashback during season one, record executive Elijah is pushed off a building by Joe for his treatment of Candace. His actor, Esteban Benito, has been a busy bee ever since, featuring majorly in Only Murders in the Building, Homeland, Happiness for Beginners, and Goosebumps.<\/p>\n

4. Ron’s death was one we celebrated<\/h2>\n

\"Elijah\"<\/p>\n

Once in a while, Joe kills someone who actually deserves it, like season one’s Ron who was abusing his wife. His actor, Daniel Cosgrove, has gone on to appear in Blue Bloods, And Just Like That, and Billions. Just this week, he signed on to General Hospital as a sleazy politician.<\/p>\n

5. Beck was the IT girl in season one<\/h2>\n

\"Beck\"<\/p>\n

Each season, Joe Goldberg has a new infatuation that inevitably gets killed in spectacular fashion, and in season one, that was Beck. Since being whacked off by her boyfriend, Elizabeth Lail has married her sweetheart, dentist Nieku Manshadi, and continued working in the world of acting on Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Gossip Girl, Elsbeth, and stage shows such as Pretty Perfect Lives.<\/p>\n

6. Jasper met an untimely end in season two<\/h2>\n

\"Jasper\"<\/p>\n

Jasper was the first person Joe Goldberg killed in YOU season two after he came looking for the man Joe stole his identity from. There’s not a lot of information online about what Steven W. Bailey is up to now, with his most recent project being Chicago Fire in 2023.<\/p>\n

7. Henderson was an accidental kill, but one we appreciated<\/h2>\n

\"Henderson\"<\/p>\n

I’m not shedding any tears over Henderson’s accidental death, after all, he was a dangerous paedophile who lured unsuspecting women into his Hollywood home. Ironically, actor Chris D’Elia faced his own allegations after YOU when multiple women came forward with troubling misconduct allegations, which he denied.<\/p>\n

He was reportedly blacklisted from Hollywood as a result, selling his $3.75 million mansion four years later.<\/p>\n

8. Ryan’s actor has since moved into Hallmark movies<\/h2>\n

\"Ryan's\"<\/p>\n

Scott Michael Foster portrayed Ryan in season three of Netflix’s YOU. The arrogant ex-husband of Joe’s new infatuation, Marienne, Ryan naturally met his end by way of multiple stab wounds. Despite an impressive set of projects ranging from Once Upon a Time to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Scott has since been relegated to B-tier Hallmark movies – ouch!<\/p>\n

9. I’m just not ready to talk about Love’s death<\/h2>\n

\"Ryan's\"<\/p>\n

It’s been nearly five years since YOU rudely killed off the best character, Love Quinn, and I am STILL not over it. My personal feelings aside, her actress Victoria Pedretti has been thriving since the Netflix show with credits on The Haunting of Bly Manor, Origin, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Amazing Stories.<\/p>\n

Outside of acting, she’s been maintaining the vibiest of vibey Instagrams.<\/p>\n

10. Malcolm was definitely killed by Joe Goldberg in YOU, right?<\/h2>\n

\"Malcolm\"<\/p>\n

Stephen Hagan has been relatively quiet since being killed as Malcolm in one of the most confusing plots in YOU season four. Reports suggest he’s been working in theatre more than TV and film, but he does have a Hallmark movie called Love of the Irish on his calendar for this year. As per his Instagram, he’s been focusing on his marriage to comedian Wendy Wason and raising their three kids.<\/p>\n

11. Joe cut off Simon’s ear after killing him<\/h2>\n

\"Malcolm\"<\/p>\n

Aidan Cheng played artist Simon – if you can really call him that – in season four. Alongside some minor roles, Aidan booked another Netflix project called 3 Body Problem. It’s yet to be seen whether he’ll be in the upcoming season two.<\/p>\n

12. Joe strangled Vic in season four<\/h2>\n

\"Malcolm\"<\/p>\n

Sean Pertwee has been a staple in TV and film for decades, but he seems to have slowed down a little since being killed by Joe Goldberg in season four of YOU. Since 2023, he’s worked on Silent Witness, The Night Caller, and Duchess.<\/p>\n

13. Gemma was another victim of the Eat the Rich killer<\/h2>\n

\"Gemma\"<\/p>\n

Played by Eve Austin, Gemma was another YOU cast member we were somewhat pleased to see sprawled out and lifeless on the floor. She was just proper annoying. Eve had minor roles in Midsomer Murders and This Town in 2023 and 2024, respectively, and seems to have gone full influencer now by the looks of her Instagram.<\/p>\n

14. Rhys was completely innocent<\/h2>\n

\"Rhys\"<\/p>\n

Throughout much of season four, Joe hallucinated Rhys Montrose as the Eat the Rich killer when it was actually him. In a frantic and desperate attempt to regain control, he kidnapped and killed the real Rhys.\u00a0Rhys’ actor Ed Speleers has been booked and working ever since, lending his talents to Star Trek: Picard, the upcoming Black Ops series, and Irish Wish with Lindsay Lohan.<\/p>\n

15. Tom Lockwood and Hugo were a two-for-one special<\/h2>\n

\"Tom<\/p>\n

Tom Lockwood, the father of Joe Goldberg’s love, Kate, was killed in season four of YOU just moments before Joe also whacked off his driver, Hugo. Tom’s actor was played by Hollywood legend Greg Kinnear, who just recently signed up for a Holes remake for Disney. Outside of that, he’s also been in Curb Your Enthusiasm, Smoke, and The Present since 2021.<\/p>\n
