Whilst watching the Oscars 2025<\/a>, people have noticed Morgan Freeman was wearing just one glove. Naturally, this has caused people to question why he was wearing only one.<\/p>\n

Morgan Freeman appeared at the ceremony this weekend to pay tribute to his friend, Gene Hackman<\/a>. It was confirmed last week actor Gene had passed away<\/a>, alongside his wife. Morgan Freeman appeared at the ceremony and introduced its annual In Memoriam segment.<\/p>\n

“This week, our community lost a giant. And I lost a dear friend, Gene Hackman,” Morgan said during his piece. “I had the pleasure of working alongside Gene on two films, Unforgiven and Under Suspicion, and like everyone who ever shared a scene with him, I learned he was a generous performer and a man whose gifts elevated everyone\u2019s work. He received two Oscars, but more importantly, he won the hearts of film lovers all over the world.”<\/p>\n
