It’s no secret that Kinda pregnant<\/a> was a kinda flop. Nobody has hit it with a five star status, and several reviews have branded it unfunny which has got to be a shame for its leading lady. Amy Schumer made a Netflix comeback<\/a> after seven years with Kinda Pregnant, but what has she been up to on the down-low in between that time? Being hilarious, probably.<\/p>\n

She opened up about a health diagnosis<\/h2>\n

Early last year Amy Schumer opened up about having Cushing’s Syndrome, which is a condition caused by having steroid injections in high doses. She originally spoke out about it due to “trolling” comments she was getting online. She firstly\u00a0attributed the change in her appearance to having endometriosis, but then revealed it was actually her Cushing’s diagnosis – which left her feeling “reborn.”<\/p>\n

“There are a few types of Cushing. Some that can be fatal, require brain surgery or removal of adrenal glands,” Amy told the News Not Noise newsletter.<\/a><\/p>\n

“I have the kind of Cushing that will just work itself out and I’m healthy [which] was the greatest news imaginable,” she explained.<\/p>\n

She’s still been acting, just not much on Netflix<\/h2>\n

You’ll probably remember Amy Schumer’s last Netflix film, I Feel Pretty, which released in 2018. However, she’s still been keeping busy with projects like Unfrosted, Life and Beth, Expecting Amy, IF, She Came to Me and even voicing in a Trolls movie. She’s still been working hard!<\/p>\n

She has released a comedy special on the streaming platform<\/h2>\n

Despite not being in a feature Netflix film for a while, Amy did do a Netflix comedy special back in June 2023. It was called Emergency Contact, but to be honest I didn’t even know it existed until now.<\/p>\n

She went on tour<\/h2>\n

Amy Schumer actually did a huge tour back in 2022. Although she’s been off the screen, you could find her on stage almost every night for the whole Autumn and Winter. I’d hardly call that a hiatus!<\/p>\n
