Nicki Minaj was already facing backlash for her unexpected alliance with MAGA and Donald Trump. But now she\u2019s found herself in a rather bizarre row with the creator of Chucky, all thanks to a post about the US midterm elections.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2026 midterms<\/a> saw Democrats win back control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, dealing a major blow to Trump’s Republican Party. The results have sparked a huge reaction across the US, with Trump blaming fellow Republicans for the losses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to the results, Minaj pulled a classic MAGA move – using AI<\/a> to hijack someone else’s intellectual property for political propaganda. We\u2019ve seen similar moves many times over, for instance, when <\/span>Spider-Man: Brand New Day was used to promote ICE<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

More recently, the White House shared an AI-generated image showing Trump and senior administration officials as characters from One Piece. <\/span><\/p>\n

And yesterday, ahead of the results, Minaj posted an AI image of Chucky, the iconic killer doll from the Child\u2019s Play horror<\/a> franchise. In her image, Chucky is shown using a phone to cast his vote from a gold and pink office tower. <\/span><\/p>\n

He\u2019s wearing a pink suit and a badge that says, \u201cVote Red.\u201d Alongside the image, the rapper wrote, \u201cHAPPY ELECTION DAY!!!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This alone received plenty of backlash online, with many joking, \u201cEveryone knows Chucky votes blue b*tch. So does Tiffany.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
