Here’s exactly when to watch it

Dexter Morgan is back for more bloodshed. Oh yes, Dexter: Resurrection season 2 is arriving just in time for Halloween. But there’s a slight change to the release schedule that you’ll want to take note of.

Michael C. Hall returns as everyone’s favourite morally questionable serial killer, whose story is somehow still going strong two decades after Dexter first hit our screens.

After surviving being shot by his own son in New Blood, Dexter headed to New York City in the first season of Resurrection, hoping to reconnect with Harrison (Jack Alcott). And things didn’t exactly go smoothly.

When it comes to season 2, there’s a lot to be excited about. Firstly, Uma Thurman’s back as Charley. But there are also some exciting newcomers, including none other than the legend who played Logan Roy, Brian Cox. And let’s not forget scream king Dan Stevens.

So, without further ado, here’s when and where to watch it, as well as a brief refresher on what went down at the end of season 1.

Here’s the Dexter: Resurrection season 2 release date and time

Dexter: Resurrection season 2 episode 1 will be available to watch on Paramount+ Premium on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 12am PT / 3am ET.

If you’re watching on cable, you’ll be able to catch the premiere on Showtime at 8pm ET / PT.

Here’s where the change comes in: unfortunately, season 2 is only dropping one episode for its premiere. If you recall, season 1 had a double-episode drop to start with. Thankfully, it’s not a huge difference and episodes will continue to roll out each week without gaps.

If you’re outside the US, there’s good news, as Dexter: Resurrection season 2 will also be available on Paramount+ in many countries worldwide.

Paramount itself hasn’t confirmed the exact time the premiere will drop in each country. But based on the previous season and its usual release pattern, we’ve estimated and listed several timezones below so you know roughly when to tune in:
