DC Studios has brought one of Batman’s most unsettling villains to the big screen with Clayface, but does the new DCU film have a post-credit scene?

The film follows Matt Hagen, a rising Hollywood actor whose promising career takes a dark turn after a career-ending accident transforms him into a terrifying monster. Played by Tom Rhys Harries, Matt becomes the focus of this horror story, which explores how a man at the height of his success ends up becoming one of Gotham’s most frightening figures.

Unlike a typical superhero film, Clayface focuses on a villain’s origins. But with superhero films often including extra scenes to tease future projects, should you stay for a mid-credit or post-credit scene? Here’s what to expect when the credits begin.

So, does Clayface have a mid-credit or post-credit scene?

"Clayface
Credit: Warner Bros.

No, Clayface does not have a mid-credit or post-credit scene. And there is no extra sequence waiting halfway through the credits or at the very end.

While the film includes a few mentions of Wayne Enterprises, there is no direct Batman tease hidden in the credits. It also does not reveal what Matt Hagen might do next or confirm whether he will return in another DCU project.

But wait, there is still one detail worth mentioning. Although there are no extra scenes, the credits feature a track titled “End Credits (Clayface)”, composed by Volker Bertelmann. The music features a slow, dramatic orchestral sound that reflects the tragic side of Matt Hagen’s story. So, if you want to take in the atmosphere of the film after its ending, there is a reason to stick around.

For now, Matt Hagen’s future in the DCU remains unclear. But I’d definitely want to see him in the next Batman movie.
