Four new Harry Potter stories are coming out this week

It features a US version of Hogwarts

JK Rowling has written four new pieces of the Harry Potter story, and is releasing them on Pottermore  this week. The four-parter is called Magic in North America.

Starting today and continuing for the next four days, Rowling will release a new story at 2pm on the fan site.

“Magic in North America will bring to light the history of this previously unexplored corner of the wizarding world in the run up to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” promises a post on Pottermore.

It adds: “History has many secrets. The official story is never the whole story. Look beyond the surface and you will find another world running parallel to our own a secret world where magic is real.”

The stories are expected to explore the world of Ilvermorny, which is the US version of Hogwarts. The Magical Congress of the United States of America will be established as their version of the Ministry of Magic. And the story will mish-mash fantasy and reality, exploring the history of the Salem witch trials within the Harry Potter universe.

Let’s just hope it doesn’t feature a wizarding version of Donald Trump.
