Dalston Nando’s has run out of chicken

Dalston Nando’s on Kingsland High Street has run out of chicken.

Staff of the Portuguese peri peri restaurant have assured customers that there are still “other things on the menu” including their salads, except the chicken caesar. When we contacted the popular chain restaurant they promised us they still had creamy mash – one of their most popular side orders.

Disappointed customers will have to console themselves with the restaurant’s halloumi and vegetarian offerings. Other nearby restaurants’ poultry stocks are seemingly bountiful, though. When we asked Mangal 2, a popular kebab shop in the area, if they would ever run out of chicken they simply replied: “Don’t be ridiculous.”
