Josh KaplanThe finals of Miss GB were held last night in Leicester’s Athena arena. Miss Hull Zara Holland was crowned Miss GB 2015/16 after beating off competition from 49 other regional pageant queens. All the finalists took part in fashion wear, swimwear and evening wear rounds.
Tab columnist and Miss South East Amelia Perrin was surprised at how nice the backstage atmosphere was. She said: “It was great, there wasn’t any bitchiness at all.
“When people had forgotten boob tape and body oil, girls quickly came to the rescue to help them.
“Throughout the weekend everyone complimented everyone and gave fashion advice.
“I can’t dance at all and found learning the dance routine really hard but one of the girls spent ages teaching me it.
