Revealed: The video of a student watching porn in lectures is a hoax

Thousands fell for it

Thousands across the globe have laughed at the video of a student caught watching porn in a lecture.

He runs red faced out of the lecture as he realises his headphones aren’t connected, as fellow undergrads cackle at his demise.

But The Tab can reveal the video of Jamie Zhu watching porn in a lecture at Sydney’s University is a fake.

While the clip recently went viral with over 116000 views, Jamie exclusively confirmed it was a big hoax.

He’s thinking of another way to make you laugh

The Sports Science student from Sydney, Australia, said: “It was me in the video acting the scene out.

“I’ve always been someone that enjoys embarrassing myself for the amusement of my friends so I thought why not try and make the whole world laugh.”

Jamie, a professional entertainer, pretends he doesn’t understand why everyone is laughing at him towards the beginning of the video.

But when he realises the filthy whimpers are emerging from his laptop speakers and not through his earphones the awkward scramble to plug the earphones in and then the quick exit just makes people laugh even more.

Everyone was struggling to ignore the lustful grunting coming from his direction.

He added: “The porn in the lecture scene is something that is perhaps everyone’s greatest fear.

“The lecturer didn’t know it was a prank at the time, nobody did. Everyone thought it was an accident.

“She soon realised what was happening and found it funny too.”

The spotlight was undeniably on Jamie. The video has since duped national news sites like Mail Online and Lad Bible, who all thought it was real.

Jamie thinks university is the perfect place for his pranks and awkward situations to be filmed.

He said: “Students are the people that not only have good reactions but they enjoy the pranks themselves too.

“I don’t really like upsetting people.”

He likes to be the one being laughed at. Let’s hope nothing comes up in their exam that was covered in that lecture.
