Go to festivals and get paid for it – is this the best summer job ever?
Why waste the best part of the year in a stuffy office?
Most of us spend our summers interning in a bleak office with broken air conditioning and barely get to see the sunlight.
If you’re lucky you might manage to pick up a paid gig until uni starts again in September, but it’s unlikely.
But what if you could travel Europe, visit all the festivals, write about it and even get some cash too?
Forget the 9 to 5 summer grind, Generator Hostels are hiring for the job of a lifetime as a festival reporter.
If you win, you’ll spend the summer travelling festivals all over Europe from June to September.
You could be partying at Sonar in Barcelona, Copenhagen’s Roskilde, LoveBox in London, MS Dockville in Hamburg, Dublin’s Electric Picnic and the famous Lollapalooza in Berlin.
To enter, just post on your favourite social media channel telling them why you think you should win.
This can be on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Google+ or even your blog, and can include video, images and text.
Then fill out the form on Generator’s website before 4th June, including name, age, country of residence, email address, and add a link to your social post.
The most original post will win and the winner will be announced on 8th June.
You can check out the terms and conditions here.
But if festivals aren’t your thing, you can also travel Europe hopping between the Generator Hostels.
Just 15 minutes from the Gare Du Nord or 10 minutes from King’s Cross, you can party all hours and take advantage of their 24 hour receptions
Not forgetting the DJs and live music every night – don’t miss out this summer.
