Fresher joins her TOWIE sister Lucy Meck for swimwear shoot

Bournemouth fresher Lydia Mecklenburgh joined her TOWIE-star sister Lucy to model in a brand new beauty campaign.

Showing some sisterly love, the marketing student teamed up with Lucy, 23, to pose in swimsuits and summer clothing for a fake tan photoshoot.

Lydia, 19, had no issues following in her sister’s modelling footsteps, even though it was her first proper campaign.

Modelling for fake tan brand Sunkissed, she said: “It was nice having Lucy there as a bit of support as she knows what she’s doing and she worked with Sunkissed last year as well.

“It’s perfect if I’m heading straight from uni to a night out as I can darken up my eyes and add a bit of bronzer.”

Studious Lydia doesn’t want to follow in the footsteps of her TOWIE star sister.

She added: “As I’m doing a marketing degree I’d love to go into that field and maybe work at a magazine, or to even do more campaigns like this would be amazing.”

 

Older sis Lucy is famous for starring on the hit show The Only Way is Essex, where she is known for her various love triangles and on-off relationship with co-star and ex-fiancé love rat Mario Falcone.

She said: “It was really lovely working together.

“We don’t always get to see each other a lot as Lydia is at uni and I’m working a lot so it’s definitely brought us closer together.

“We both love getting glammed up with hair and make-up and doing photoshoots together so it was really fun.”
