Girls, what do you think about chest hair on boys?

We have to know

Ever since Nigel Farage claimed Russell Brand straightened his own chest hair before going on Question Time, we’ve been obsessed with it.

But is it a good style? We toured the streets of London to ask girls if they prefer boys to look like Chewbecca or Joey Essex.

Rosina, 28, choreographer

“My fiancé has chest hair, so I guess I’m a fan. There’s a limit though: not like Austin Powers.”

Kirsten, 19, artist

“Chest hair yes, back hair no.”

Gabi, 28, passerby

“No preference. Depends on the guy really.”

Chloe, 25, barista

“I’m all about that chest rug.”

Amy, 37, commuter

“I hate chest hair. I would rather guys didn’t have any hair at all. I have enough to deal with myself.”

Imogen, 21, hospitality

“I’m undecided.”

Awinnie, 22 and Clare, 20 at Oxford

Awinnie: “I don’t mind a little bit but not too much.”

Clare: “It’s only acceptable if he’s really ripped.”

Sita, 20, London College of Communication

“A little bit. Definitely not a lot.”

Sophie, 25, office worker

“Not loads.”

Courtney, 19, model

“No. I’m strongly against it. I don’t want to be caught up in all of that.”
