How wet is your uni?

You’re wet right now, aren’t you?

2014 was one of the wettest years since records began in 1910.

Heavy rains battered the UK, flooding parts of the country and caused soggy chaos.

Get your wellies on because damp weather conditions are set to continue well into 2015.

We ranked each uni town on average rainfall a year using Met Office data: Cardiff, Glasgow and Aberystwyth are high up with over 1000 millimetres of rainfall.

Also included is the number of days it rains a year, which counts as more than 0.1 millimetres of precipitation in a 24 hour period: Leeds, Cardiff and Aberystwyth come top with more than 160 rainy days on average.
