How upper class is your uni?

The uni game just got changed forever

Last week, we published stats on how wealthy your uni is.

Now we have info on the question keeping you awake at night: how upper class is your uni?

With data compiled by the Higher Education Statistics Agency, we ranked each institution based on a metric called the National Stats Socio-Economic Classification.

It has eight different categories based on your parents — ranging from the first, “Higher managerial and professional occupations” to the last, “Never worked and long-term unemployed”.

According to data experts, upper class counts as the top three groups: higher and lower managerial and professional occupations and intermediate occupations like sales and services.
