This new penis-themed video game raises money for Planned Parenthood

Of course the IUD plays the hero

Planned Parenthood is constantly creating new ways to find support in the midst of troubling and unending political opposition. This is is even more urgent now as House Speaker Paul Ryan confirmed the GOP’s intention to defund Planned Parenthood.

To put a fun spin on the urgency of donations, a game has been created that’s both interactive and relative to their cause. Featuring penises, sperm and a host of birth control options, Sperm Invaders is a parody of the popular Space Invaders game — and it’s gaining new users by the minute.

In the game, the main player games as an IUD defending eggs against presumed fertilization by an army of penises. The IUD is given three “lives” to protect itself against the sperm rocketing toward them, and each life is lost when an IUD is hit by the rogue sperm. The eggs slowly deteriorate as the Sperm is shot at them.

At the end of the game, the player is then presented the opportunity to either donate directly to Planned Parenthood or purchase Sperm Invaders merchandise to benefit the healthcare provider.

Begin battling the evil sperm as the IUD hero all whilst supporting Planned Parenthood here.
