PSA: Ellen isn’t going to be on UT’s campus today

Students have been waiting to spot Ellen DeGeneres on campus all day since she tweeted “I hope you’re free tomorrow” to the official UT Austin Twitter account on Monday evening.
Her crew was spotted setting up in front of the tower at 1pm earlier, right after Ellen tweeted asking everyone to get their Beyoncé costume ready.

However, Ellen won’t actually be on campus today — it will just be her crew. On a live segment at 5:30pm The Ellen Show will be giving away tickets to the Grammy’s to the students who show up with the best Beyoncé costumes by 3:30pm.
Ellen ain’t even sorry.
