Austin Dunn and Morgan Monahan win the USG Presidency and Vice Presidency in a landslide

Announced at today’s Senate meeting

Current USG Vice President Austin Dunn and running mate Morgan Monahan have been elected the 2017-18 USG President and Vice President by a 13 percent margin and a plurality of the vote.

Despite many publicized calls for Dunn and Monahan’s disqualification for engaging in the same social media campaigning practices as predecessors Edwin Saucedo and Rini Sampath, just 5,411 undergraduates voted. Dunn’s campaign did face sanctioning, with $1,000 of their $1,500 campaign allotment revoked by the sanctioning body.

Rachel Udabe and Rebecca Harbeck came in second place, followed by newly resigned USG Senator Daniel Million and running mate Timothy Vorhoff coming in third.
