It’s supposed to snow Saturday and NC State fans are already being annoying about it

Typical

As of now, Chapel Hill is under a winter storm warning from 7pm Friday to 7pm Saturday. Which means one thing and one thing only – snow talk is running rampant. Even from some of our local businesses:

With predictions of up to 7 inches in parts of the triangle, and our game against NC State on Saturday night, it’s no wonder Wolfpack fans are already reaching obnoxious territory. I mean they reach it pretty often, so it’s not too much of a surprise. Here are some of the worst tweets from Wolfpackers:

Well sorry, I’m not giving them to you.

Hm, I think the funny part of this exchange is people in Raleigh act just the same when it snows. It’s our entire state that goes haywire when weather happens, so shush and don’t pretend you’re not part of the problem.

I’m sorry State fans (not really), but just because a fluke happened once when it snowed, doesn’t mean it will happen again. And sorry this game is the highlight of your team’s schedule, it must be sad to have such a lame college sports experience.

So on Saturday Tar Heels, be safe in all this expected snow and beat (but mostly ignore) State.
