There’s a new turn light on Franklin St. and the internet is going wild

Chapel Hill traffic is full of never-ending frustration, with narrow roads and backups that seem to start out of thin air. The best example of this is the Franklin and Raleigh Street intersection. You know, that super terrifying intersection with left-turns of death?
Well, it seems like the traffic gods of Chapel Hill are hearing our cries, because a left-turn light was recently added to that exact spot.
Of course when the news broke on ‘Overheard at UNC’, people went wild. Here are some of the best reactions to this amazing news:
That it is. Even if Santa was two weeks late and didn’t grant my wish of an A on a final – at least he brought us a traffic light.
