UMass professor to rep Amherst community on Jeopardy tonight

Today, Friday Jan 6th, tune into WBZ at 7:30pm EST to watch Joseph Bartolomeo compete to hold his rank as defending champion on Jeopardy.

Bartolomeo is a UMass Professor in the department of English who isn’t new to the world of game shows. He previously tried out for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and grew up in a family that loved playing trivia games.

The profession recently competed on the show and left with $14,000, beating out the previously reigning champ, Amanda Berofsky. Berofsky fell behind after betting almost all she had on a question she answered wrong.
