2016’s oddest and scariest trend has now made its way over to IV
On Wednesday night, a bladed clown was reportedly seen loitering outside the Campus 880 apartments on Camino del Sur.
The IV residents were apparently told to close their windows and lock their doors after a security guard for the apartments spotted the knife-wielding clown.
Residents were left terrified by the incident, with one student remarking on Twitter: “what is this talk about a clown walking round with a knife in IV? dis some jokes? cus it better be some damn jokes cus i dont play w clowns [sic].”
This clown sighting follows a series of sightings on various college campuses, like the University of Florida, Michigan State and Syracuse.
There are suggestions that the latest clown trend might just be pledges cashing in on a popular meme but Gauchos are still advised to stay safe and remain vigilant should they see another clown in IV.
